Junior College (Commerce & Science)

The Govt. of Maharashtra has adopted the uniform pattern of education of 10 + 2 +3 on the lines recommended by Central Advisory Board of Education. According higher Secondary courses for Stds. XI and XII have been introuduced form july 1975 and progressively from 1976. These Classes were to be located in selected school and colleges where facilities existed for the purpose The first year course. i.e. Std. XIth was started in Navjeevan Vidyamandir in 1975. Having successfully, handled the first year course, the second year i.e. Std. XII started from June- 1976

On Demand of Pupils , Science wing has been started from June 1991 in new building. The well equipped Library & Laboratories have been provided along with other amenities required for the course.

The students who have passed the new S.S.C. Examination are eligible to seek admission to first year Course i.e. std. XIth (Commerce or Science) After Passing the examination of Std. XIth they could seek admission to second year course i.e. Std. XIIth either or reciprocal basis or on production or eligibility certificate from the competent authority required for such purpose.

As per existing rules the exam of std. XIth will be conducted by the parent College where as the exam. Of Std. XIIth will be conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education. After passing second year courses i.d. Std. XII, the student will directly Join the variouse courses such as Medical, Engineering etc. or other wise he/she will join for three years integrated degree courses.

Education Department of Maharastra state has selected Navjeevan Vidyamandir to conduct both First Year & Second Year Courses i.e. Std. XI & XII Commerce as well as Science. The medium of instruction for the above streams will be English only.

Junior College (Commerce & Science)

Admission for the First Year Course will start from the next day of declaration of result of SSC examination where as the admission for the Second Year will start from 20 th of May. The students will seek admission for the above courses within 10 days from the above dates respectively. The admission will be given on merit basis. Admission will be treated as final only after the submission of the leaving certificate and paying the dues.

College & Office Hours

The Classes will be held in the morning from 7.20 a.m. on wards. The Office will remain open for the Junior College students from 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. on all working days.

Library Facilities

Library facilities are available for the students of Junior College. The library will be opened for study & issue of books from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on all working days. Any change in hours will be notified from time to time.
