The candidates should submit their application in the prescribed form with necessary documents to the principal NAVJEEVAN EDUCATION Society's’s POLYTECHNIC, BHANDUP ( W ) , MUMBAI 400 078.

The prescribed application form for admission along with the prospectus is available in the institute’s office on payment . The application form duly filled in all respects should be submitted to the Principal so as to reach on or before the last date within 15 days after final declaration of S.S.C. result in Maharashtra State. The applications received after the last date will not be considered.

The selection of candidates for admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit of the candidate for open category and as per rules laid down by Maharashtra state Government for Backward class and other backward class category. The inter-se merit will be determined after taking into account the marks obtained at the S.S.C. ( STD. X ) examination or equivalent examination plus weightages ( credit marks ). List of candidates selected for admission will be put on the notice board of the institute and no correspondence will be entertained in this respect The decision of the principal in all matters relating to the admission shall be final.

Qualifying Examination And Eligibility :

The candidate shall be eligible for admission subject to compliance of the following conditions.

(a) Must have passed qualifying examination viz. Secondary School Certificate Examination or the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination.
(b) Must have passed qualifying examination from any of the recognized schools in Maharashtra State .
(c) Must have passed qualifying examination with and in I) General Science or Physics and chemistry . ii) elementary Mathematics and Algebra & Geometry and iii) English.
(d) Must have Indian Nationality.

The following categories of candidates shall also be eligible for admission even though they may not have passed qualifying examination from any of the recognized schools in Maharashtra State as required by rule subject to compliance of all other conditions.

(a) Sons and daughters of person domiciled in the Maharashtra State subject to production of certificate of domicile in respect of the father and where the father of the candidate is not alive or has porced and the candidate is staying with his mother, domicile certificate of the candidate should be produced.
(b) Sons and daughters of Central Government employees including Defence Service Personnel who have been transferred to the Maharashtra State during the last academic year . Other dependents of Central Government employees are not included in this category.
(c) Candidates from outside the State of Maharashtra only for the seats available for such candidates under the rules.
(d) Students from foreign countries, only for the seats available for such candidates under the rules .The requirement of having Indian Nationality Shall also be relaxed in the case of this category.
(e) Sons and daughters of Maharashtra State Government Servants presently posted in the state of Maharashtra but whose sons \ daughter have passed qualifying examination from institute outside state of Maharashtra when such Govt. Servant was posted or on deputation outside the State of Maharashtra .
(f) Candidate sponsored by the Government of India against the seats reserved for the Government of India.
